Rafa + Mariana: a surprise proposal full of love

One day, we received a call from Rafa, asking about our couple photography sessions. He had an amazing idea and needed our help: he wanted to surprise Mariana with a proposal during a special photo session as a birthday gift. We absolutely loved the idea. We’re always up for these kinds of surprises and get so excited about love stories like this.

On the day of the session, we kicked things off by taking some beautiful photos of them in one of the most iconic spots in Western Portugal—Termas do Vimeiro, Escarpas da Maceira . The moment we reached the most picturesque part of the location, we gave Rafa the signal. That’s when he went for it—the most emotional part of the session. The proposal! It was pure magic. There were tears of happiness, warm embraces, and jumps of joy—such a beautiful moment that we’ll never forget.

We love capturing moments of pure happiness. The rest of the session went smoothly, full of joy and relaxation, with stunning colors surrounding us. The green and golden hues of autumn added a perfect touch, making the whole session even more aesthetically beautiful.

This was one of those moments where everything fell into place, and we couldn’t be happier to have been part of it. Nothing beats capturing these kinds of genuine, life-changing moments.
