A story in cinematic moments: Carolina + Mario’s wedding at Quinta dos Jarros

On an early autumn day, Carolina and Mário’s wedding was bathed in warm, rich colors—deep shades of amber and gold blending with the stubborn greens of leaves not yet ready to surrender to the season.

Carolina’s morning was quiet and intimate, wrapped in the warmth of family, friends, and neighbors. She got ready in her childhood bedroom, on the first floor of her parents' home, overlooking a lush garden filled with orange trees. Between laughter and tender moments, there was time for heartfelt gifts to friends and family, and a stolen moment to read the vows Mário had written for her.

The ceremony took place in the church of A dos Cunhados, and it was nothing short of cinematic—tears, emotion, and a love so palpable it felt straight out of a movie.

Afterwards, the celebration continued at Quinta dos Jarros, where we stole away for one of the most magical couple sessions we’ve ever done. In a hidden grove beside the venue, the ground was scattered with wildflowers, and just when we thought the light couldn’t get any better, the sun broke through—making every color come alive, painting the moment in gold.

It was one of those weddings that stays with you, long after the day is over.
