A heartfelt celebration: Francisca + Gonzalo’s wedding on a family venue in Salvaterra de Magos

Francisca and Gonzalo tied the knot and celebrated in full force, surrounded by their Portuguese and Peruvian families. The day began with Francisca getting ready at her parents' house in Parede, where the sea shimmered through the windows. With her closest family and best friends by her side, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter, and a touch of pre-wedding butterflies. Analog cameras clicked away, capturing every meaningful moment before the big "I do."

Meanwhile, in Salvaterra de Magos, Gonzalo was having his own pre-wedding celebration at a cozy local airbnb. His Peruvian and Portuguese crew—family and friends alike—were in full party mode, ready to cheer him on and raise their beers to the new chapter ahead.

The couple chose a deeply meaningful place for their big day—a private family venue in Salvaterra de Magos, rich in history and love, where Francisca’s family had gathered for countless celebrations before. As the sun bathed the evening in golden light, the magic unfolded: dancing, toasts, and endless snapshots capturing the pure joy of the moment.

With the last light of day fading, guests took their seats under a canopy of trees for an intimate dinner. The tables, beautifully adorned with lemons and lush greenery—handcrafted by the couple themselves—set the perfect scene for an evening of incredible food, heartfelt speeches, belly laughs, and happy tears. And then came the cake—or rather, the not-so-traditional cake. Instead of the usual tiered confection, the couple surprised everyone with a towering stack of shots, inviting every guest to raise a glass to their future.

A wedding bursting with love, laughter, and a whole lot of young soul—Francisca and Gonzalo wouldn't have had it any other way.
