Mariana + Tim’s intimate wedding at Ordem dos Médicos, Lisbon
Mariana and Tim’s wedding was romantic, raw, and filled with genuine emotion—just like their love story. They are the perfect blend of Portugal and Ireland, bringing together the best of both worlds in the most effortless way. Being part of this incredibly unique and special day was an absolute privilege, and we loved witnessing Tim experience a little piece of Portugal at its finest.
Mariana’s morning started in Torres Vedras (her hometown and ours too—a place that holds so much meaning!). The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, with soft music playing in the background, setting the perfect mood as she got ready. Meanwhile, 60 minutes away in Lisbon, Tim was getting dressed at the cinematic Luster Hotel, surrounded by his closest friends, many of whom were visiting Portugal for the first time. Laughter filled the air, and just before heading to the ceremony, there was even time for a quick stop at the hotel bar to cool down with one of Portugal’s summer essentials—a cold, refreshing Imperial.
At the stunning Igreja do Campo Grande, a mix of Portuguese and English voices echoed through the space. Families met, some for the very first time, exchanging smiles, stories, and warm embraces. The church was bathed in the most beautiful natural light, filtering through the windows at just the right angle. The deep blues and intricate details of the azulejos on the walls and ceiling created a breathtaking backdrop for a ceremony filled with pure, heartfelt emotions. Simply magical.
After the “I do’s,” the celebration continued at Ordem dos Médicos, where the lush greenery of the garden and the timeless elegance of the venue set the perfect scene for heartfelt speeches, joyful tears, and endless laughter. As the evening unfolded, guests gathered around candlelit tables, sharing stories, raising glasses, and soaking in every moment of this unforgettable night.
Capturing Mariana and Tim’s wedding reminded us of how beautiful it is to truly live and feel each moment—romantically, intimately, and surrounded by the people who mean the most.
